On Christmas Eve, there was a shooting at a pub called the Lighthouse Inn in Wallasey Village, Merseyside.

A woman shot died, and three men suffered gunshot wounds.

The shooting is believed to have been a drive-by shooting, and the suspect is thought to have left the scene in a dark vehicle, possibly a Mercedes.

A murder investigation has been launched, and police search for the responsible person.

The pub is closed while forensic officers investigate the scene and detectives try to gather information about the shooting.
