British ballroom dancer Jennifer Worth killed in Majorca pedestrian crossing accident

British ballroom dancer Jennifer Worth was killed in a road accident on the island of Majorca on December 21. 

Jennifer Worth and her partner, James, were struck by a 4×4 driven by a woman at a pedestrian crossing in front of Palma Cathedral

Worth was pronounced dead at the scene, while James remains in intensive care in a “serious” condition. 

The driver of the 4×4 has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and reckless injury. 

Friends described Jennifer Worth as a “bright and sunny personality” and a “beloved student and friend” at CJ Dancing, a school based in Southampton where she practiced. 

Tributes have been paid to Worth online, with friends expressing their condolences and describing her as “lovely” and “bubbly.”
