New Look Closing Stores Across UK

Fashion retailer New Look is closing some stores in the UK.

The company says the closures are normal, and it occasionally closes stores and opens new ones when the right opportunities arise.

Four stores closed in January, and three more will close in February.

Locations include Birmingham, Coventry, Trowbridge, Kirkcaldy, Walthamstow, and Northampton.

A New Look spokesperson said they regret the closures and are trying to find suitable jobs for affected employees.

The company is also expanding its partnership with second-hand clothing website Re-Fashion and will open six new in-store concessions in the UK.

New Look has 440 stores in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and over 10,000 employees.

Other fashion brands have also closed stores in the UK, blaming a change in customer behavior.
